Kim Kardashian is getting ready to hit the Met Gala red carpet next month by unveiling a new hairstyle ahead of fashion's biggest night.
Kardashian has ditched her signature dark locks and returned to a stunning platinum blonde before she makes her appearance at the Met Gala on Monday (May 6). Fans of the Kardashians star will note that the cool blonde 'do is a very similar look to what she wore to the 2022 Met Gala where she famously wore an iconic Marilyn Monroe dress alongside her then-boyfriend Pete Davidson.
The SKIMS founder's hair transformation was documented by her hairstylist Chris Appleton, who shared photos and videos of "Ice kimmy" and her silvery blonde tresses on Instagram over the weekend, per Page Six.
Appleton said they achieved the look by coloring her hair in a couple of sessions in order to "keep the integrity of the hair nice and juicy."
While Kardashian has rocked the blonde before, even choosing a warmer honey-toned style at the GQ Men of the Year party in 2023, he notably channeled her inner blonde bombshell at the Met Gala in 2022 when she wore a dress famous worn by another iconic blonde Marilyn Monroe, though that look was not without its controversies.
